RMS Homework

• Good luck to the RMS 8th Grade Boys Basketball Team as they play Williamsville in the opening round of Regionals on Saturday, February 1st at 11:15 in Athens.  
• Good luck to the RMS Chess Team as they travel to Von Steuben Middle School for a tournament on Saturday, February 1st.  
• Good luck to the RMS 7th Grade Volleyball Team as they travel to Pawnee for a tournament on Saturday, February 1st.
• Good luck to the RMS 6th Grade Boys Basketball Team at their tournament at RMS and RHS on Saturday, February 1st.
• Scholastic Bowl- Practice on Monday, February 3rd after school until 3:30 PM.
• Beta Club- Meeting on Thursday, February 6th after school until 3:30 PM.
• 8th Grade Graduation will be on Wednesday, May 20th in the RHS Gym.
• Did you know eating breakfast can brighten your mood and make you feel happier?  So don't let your teenager run on empty... encourage them to give our free school breakfast a try!  The RMS Grab 'n' Go Breakfast Cart is now available outside of the school office.  What better way to start your day than with a free, nutritious school breakfast!

• A reminder that cell phone use is NOT permitted by students during the school day with the exception of before the 8:50 AM bell and during recess.  Cell phones are NOT allowed to be out during passing periods, during morning study hall, in the hallways, in the locker rooms, or in the cafeteria.  If a student has their phone out, they will get a referral and the the phone will be placed in the office until the end of the day.

• Congratulations to 7th grader Eric Chen on his victory in the 2020 RMS Geography Bee! Eric will now take an online test to try to qualify in the top 100 of the state and advance to the State GeoBee in Glen Ellyn, IL on March 27th.  Way to go Eric!
