  • All library books are due no later than May 18th.
  • The RMS Book Fair is May 17-May 21st.
  • RMS is having a book exchange. Students can bring their own books that they are done reading, and trade them in for "new books to them" to keep and read over the summer. Click on the following link for more information. Book Exchange
  • There is a temporary program as part of the stimulus package to assist with internet costs. Each student at Riverton is eligible because the school has the free and reduced lunches. Click HERE for more information.
  • We are currently experiencing a large number of tardies each morning. RMS opens 7:30 AM. Students not here by 7:45 AM are marked tardy.
  • RMS Summer School will be June 1-June 14 from 8:00 AM-11:45 AM. Please email Miss. Campbell at mcampbell@rivertonschools.org with any questions.
  • All RMS Athletic Schedules can be found in the bottom left corner under MS Athletics.
  • 8th Grade Promotion Reminders
    • T-Shirt order forms and payment ($8.50) is due no later than Tuesday, May 4th.
    • Baby pictures need to be turned into Mrs. Durham no later than Friday, May 7th.
    • Students MUST attend the practice on Tuesday, May 25th during the school day in order to go to the ceremony.  NO EXCEPTIONS!
    • Students with ANY outstanding fees will not be allowed to participate in the promotion.
    • Only 8th Grade students who have completed ALL (state and local) requirements by the day of promotion will be allowed to participate in the ceremony.
  • A few reminders from Nurse Darci.  If you have any questions please email her at dcatarinicchia@rivertonschools.org
    • If your student is returning to school from being quarantined contact Nurse Darci to make sure they are OK to come back.
    • Please keep students home for any symptoms related to COVID-19 (fever, moderate-severe headache, shortness of breath, new cough, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain from unknown cause, congestion/runny nose, loss of sense of taste or smell, nausea, fatigue from unknown cause, muscle or body aches), even if you think symptoms are related to a chronic health condition, as each new onset of symptoms should be medically evaluated. 
    • If you are keeping one of your students home, the whole household needs to stay home from school.
