Hello Hawk Nation!  Welcome back to the 2018-19 School Year.  As your new principal, I am extremely excited to begin the school year with you!  Please bookmark this link.  Each day announcements will be posted to this site.  We hope you find this way of communication about the activities at school to be helpful.

As always, we are looking forward to another exciting and rewarding school year for our students and staff.  I want to bring some information to your attention to help make the beginning of the school year as smooth as possible.

• Meet the Teacher Night is tomorrow from 5:30-7. Student lockers will be available to drop off supplies.
• Online registration for 18-19 is available.  It is required for all returning students.  Please login to Family Access in Skyward as soon as possible to complete the registration process for returning students.
• All schedules have been posted to Family Access.

• Students being dropped off at RMS may be dropped off at 7:30AM.  Students should be in their seats by 7:55AM, or they will have to sign in at the office and get a pass to class.  Students should be picked up by 2:35PM.
• For the safety of our students, there is NO PARKING in the line to drop off students.  If you need to come into the office, please park your car.
• Each week we will recognize students in our building for the exemplary behavior.  The character of the month for August and September is Responsibility.  A person of character meets the demands of duty, is accountable, pursues excellence, and exercises self-control.
• If you do not have Family Access, please contact the office to get set up - this is an invaluable resource.
• All lesson plans will be available online and updated regularly.  You can access teacher lesson plans/homework from the main webpage by selecting the middle school, then select the Middle School Staff Directory
• Nearly all communication will be digital.  Please make sure your email address is accurate in Family Access.
• Attendance - If your child is not going to be at school due to illness, doctor visits, etc., please call the office before 9AM to report the absences.
• If students are going to ride a different bus home they must have a bus pass.  A note or call from a parent is required.  Calls should be made prior to 1:50PM to ensure we can get the passes to the students.
• There will be no school (8/8) for Teacher Inservice
• Students will be dismissed at 11:15AM (8/9) and (8/10).
