October 18th 2019

  • We are on Fall Break from October 14th-18th.
  • October 21st-25th RMS will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week when we come back from Fall Break.  See below for the theme for each day.
    • Monday- 'Merica Monday "I pledge to be drug free": Dress in Red, White, and Blue!
    • Tuesday- Team Up Against Drugs: Dress As Your Favorite Sports Team!
    • Wednesday- Too Smart Too Start: Dress As A Nerd!
    • Thursday- Give Drugs The Boot: Dress As A Cowboy/Cowgirl!
    • Friday- Hawk Pride Day: Dress In Your Hawk Gear!
  • Due to maintenance in the Hawk Center, the 4th and 5th grade Youth Basketball schedule for October 26th will be adjusted slightly. The games will be moved into the RHS Old Gym and we will only play one game at a time. Therefore Game 1 will be White vs. Blue at 8:00 AM and Game 2 will be Orange vs Black at 9:00 AM.  Click HERE for the new schedule.. 
  • There is a Beta Club Meeting on Tuesday, October 22nd after school in the RMS Library until 3:15 PM.
  • There is a Yearbook Club Meeting on Tuesday, October 22nd after school until 3:30 PM.
  • There is a Hawk Pride Meeting on Thursday, October 24th after school in the RMS Cafeteria until 3:30 PM.
  • There is a Student Council Meeting on Tuesday, October 29th after school until 3:30 PM.
  • Do you check Planbook?  If not, you are missing out.  Click the link above to follow what's going on in class!  Assignments, projects, and test information can be found on these pages!
  • Picture Re-Take day at RMS will be on Wednesday, October 23rd.  Click HERE to order online.  The RMS school picture code is EVTPMVFDX.
  • RMS Girls Basketball and all of the RMS Clubs will be getting their pictures taken on Wednesday, October 23rd.  Please have your student listen to the morning announcements for special instructions.  
  • Miles of Smiles will be at RMS on November 1st providing dental exams.  All students should have received a form to bring home.  Please complete the form and return to Nurse Schoby by October 5th.  This is a FREE dental program for students!!  Please call Nurse Schoby with questions.
  • Did you know eating breakfast can brighten your mood and make you feel happier?  So don't let your teenager run on empty... encourage them to give our free school breakfast a try!  The RMS Grab 'n' Go Breakfast Cart is now available outside of the school office.  What better way to start your day than with free, nutritious school breakfast!
