BACK TO SCHOOL INFORMATION
  • New RMS Webpage!  From www.rivertonschools.org select Middle School, or bookmark this link!
  • Hybrid Schedule
    • Unregistered students will not be allowed to attend school until the registration process is complete.
    • Students with Homeroom (HR) Monday/Tuesday on their schedule will attend on A Days (Monday & Tuesday)  First day in-person is August 17th!
    • Students with Homeroom (HR) Thursday/Friday on their schedule will attend on B Days (Thursday & Friday) - First day in-person is August 20th!
    • Wednesday (and the other two days depending on when your student is assigned) are remote learning days for all students.  Students will be required to log in and complete work to be counted present for school.  Students not completing work on their remote learning days will be marked absent.
    • Schedules were released August 4th.  *Students not yet registered will not be able to see their schedule in Skyward.*

    DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS
    • August 18 - A Day
    • August 19 - Remote Learning Day
    • August 20 - B Day - First day of in-person for B Day Students
    • August 21 - B Day
    DAILY SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENTS
    • Bus students will enter the side gym doors. Students being dropped off, or walking to school, will enter the front doors. 
    • Students will be screened each day when they come to school before they are allowed to board a bus or enter the building.
    • Students are required to wear face coverings throughout the day and practice social distancing as much as possible.
    • All students should go directly to their homerooms upon arrival. Students will not be allowed to gather in common areas throughout the school day.
    • Students are not allowed to use restrooms during passing periods. Students will be allowed to use assigned restrooms during class to limit the number of students in the restroom at any given time.
    • Traffic near the majority of classrooms will be one-way.
    • Students should refrain from bringing personal items to school as lockers will not be in use.
    • Learning materials will be digital to the greatest extent possible to prevent the sharing of materials.
    • Students may bring a snack to eat at approximately 10:40 AM as they will eat lunch just prior to dismissal.
    • The building will be closed to visitors during Phase 4.
    • Parents picking up students should use the intercom system.
    • Parents may wait outside, or in the vestibule, for their student.
    • Exceptions may be made to hold certain types of meetings, by appointment. Meetings will be held virtually as much as possible
